Short bio
Electrical & Computers Engineer, specialized in Electronics, Telecommunications and Networks. Head of Unit, EU & International Organizations, Directorate for International Science & Technology Cooperation, GENERAL SECRETARIAT FOR RESEARCH AND INNOVATION (GSRI). Has been working for 20 years in the private sector as high-level manager in several high-tech companies mostly in Satellite telecoms and services, VSAT and Teleports. Joined GSRI in 2011, and represented Greece in several boards in European Space Agency until 2018. He represents Greece in the Strategic Programme Committee, the Widening Programme Committee and the “Civil Security for Society” (CL3) Programme Committee of the Horizon Europe Framework Programme. He is High Level Representative of Greece in the Eureka Network and member of the high-level Greek delegation in Key Digital Technology JU and other European JUs and Partnerships.
